The journey began in the aftermath of the 2010 Haiti earthquake, a life-altering event that uprooted my family and brought us to the U.S. At just nine years old, I witnessed firsthand the strength of my mother and the power of perseverance. “Kenbe,” derived from the Haitian Creole phrase “Kenbe fèm” meaning “hold strong”, became a guiding principle in my life—one of endurance, healing, and unwavering strength.

Rooted in tradition and backed by science, Kenbe is dedicated to celebrating Black hair and self-care through potent, all-natural Ayurvedic formulations.
